TCS in a Nutshell

Ages Served

2 - 5 years old. We have three classes:

2 and 3 year-old class - BLUEBIRDS
3 and 4 year-old class - STARS
4 and 5 year-old class - RAINBOWS

Placement in a class is based on your child's age on September 1 of the year enrolling.
Hours 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Days Monday through Friday, Year-round.
Schedule options From 5 half-days to 2, 3 or 5 full days in any class. A half-day begins between 8:00 and 9:30 and ends at 12:30. A full day ends between 3:00 and 6:00.
Admissions TCS follows a school-year calendar, and most children are enrolled in the fall. Parents sign a 12 month contract.
Application We are now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year. The application deadline for the 2012-2013 school year is Friday, February 24, 2012. To apply, submit an application form along with a check for $50 made out to TCS.

Enrollment Families who have submitted an application will be informed of their child's enrollment status for the fall by March 12, 2012.
Financial Aid TCS has limited funds available for families in need of financial assistance. Families who wish to apply for aid must submit a financial aid application by February 1. Click here for an Online application.
Tuition Tuition is due on the first of each month.

Student/Teacher Ratio 2 and 3 Year-Old Class - BLUEBIRDS - 8:2/10:2 (when all children are 2 1/2)
3 and 4 Year-Old Class - STARS - 14:2
4 and 5 Year-Old Class - RAINBOWS - 18:2

Deposit A $500 deposit is required upon enrollment, and returned if a child completes his or her contracted enrollment of 12 months.
Parent Participation TCS welcomes and encourages the participation of parents, as seeing a link between home and school is an important part of a young child's education, however there is no volunteer requirement for the parents of children at TCS.

Opportunities for parent involvement include chaperoning field trips, participating in class activities, assisting in fundraising events, and serving on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors oversees the Executive Director who manages the school.
